Maximizing Registry Participation and Value: Leveraging Automated Data Flows, AI, and Analytics for Chart Abstraction

Prior to Health Catalyst, Sheila served as the Clinical Services Director at ARMUS Corporation and was at ARMUS 15 year prior to the transition of ARMUS to Health Catalyst. She has 30+ years’ experience in Cardiovascular Nursing, including Cardiovascular Clinical and Outcomes Management as well as Clinical informatics. Additionally, she has served as an educator in the public school system. She is an RN with an ASN in Nursing from Tennessee State University and holds a BS in Education from the University of Tennessee, Martin.

Melanie Rogan, ODS-C, Solution Architect, joined Health Catalyst in October 2023 following the acquisition of ERS, Inc., where she previously served as Director of Growth and Strategic Services. With a certification as an Oncology Data Specialist since 1998, Melanie has extensive expertise in education, product development, and growth strategies for CRStar by Health Catalyst. In addition to leading numerous educational webinars for CRStar clients, Melanie has delivered presentations at the National Cancer Registrars' Association (NCRA) annual meetings and various state oncology conferences. She is also a published author in industry journals. A former President of NCRA, Melanie has held several leadership roles within both NCRA and her state registry organization, the Association of North Carolina Cancer Registrars (ANCCR). Her contributions to the field have been recognized with the ANCCR Distinguished Member Award in 2016 and the NCRA Distinguished Member Award in 2018.

Allie Coronis is a healthcare leader with 30 years in experience driving data informed improved outcomes in a variety of areas including clinical research, analytics and performance improvement. She been with Health Catalyst since 2015 supporting client success. In her current role, she leads the Tech Enabled Managed Services Chart Abstraction team in their mission to help our clients maximize the value of their registry participation.

Prior to joining Health Catalyst, she spent over a decade at Allina Health supporting strategic initiatives, clinical service lines, and leading their regulatory reporting and operations. She served in various analytics, performance improvement and research support roles at UCLA, the VA Medical Center and the John Wayne Cancer Institute, and Yakima Valley Community Hospital.
