This year the CPT code changes for 2026 are being focused on two main themes:

  • Session 1, December 9: CPT codes that are static in nature (non-variable based on location, patient or provider) such as Radiology, Lab, Therapy Codes. The focus is on CPT 70000-99999 code range, Category II, and Category III changes.
  • Session 2, December 10: CPT codes that are dynamically assigned based on a medical record. This will focus on CPT 10000-69999 code range changes.
